About the Role

As Sales & Marketing/Business Development Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing RGIT Australia's Marketing and Communications Departments to satisfactory perform tasks such as collateral development, strategic planning, student recruitment, sales team management, looking for opportunities in more sales products and executing promotional campaigns, in an efficient and effective manner. You must have a strong coordination and multi-tasking skills, ability to lead a small team, understand best practice and marketing solutions to increase sales, exposure and a positive brand perception.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to sales and marketing, business development initiatives, including market research, analysis, campaign design and implementation across RGIT Australia's scope of operations
  • Manage sales and marketing operations and ensure they are satisfactorily conducted to maintain organisational operations
  • Develop high impact branding plans and content that deliver on growth aspirations based on the most effective and efficient marketing channels
  • Ensure quality digital media presence of RGIT Australia
  • Develop and maintain satisfactory relations with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure sales and marketing operations are conducted in accordance with compliance requirements
  • Monitor staff activity and provide them with ongoing support, L&D and continue Professional Development to sales staff about sales, product knowledge, and assistance to ensure efficient and effective performance and meeting targets. 

 

Skills Required

  • Strong Leadership capability
  • 2+ years of sales and marketing experience in relevant field
  • Marketing promotional planning and campaign management experience, relevant field preferred
  • Strong experience in sales, marketing & business development in the education field
  • Experience in RTO is preferred, but others who have sales experience are also encouraged to apply 
  • Strong in communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of database management and newsletter process
  • Strong understanding and capability of creative processes
  • Excellent in social media campaigns, exhibition and events management

About the role

RGIT Australia, situated in Hobart CBD, is looking for highly motivated and dedicated Vocational Education Teacher to work within the Institute.

The purpose of this role is to enhance the students’ learning experience by delivering and assessing quality, compliant, engaging and supportive training and assessment that addresses the needs of the student and complies with RGIT Australia’s and various regulating bodies’, policies, procedures and compliance requirements. 

 

Skills and experience

A (TAE40116) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification. Relevant industry and vocational education training experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.

Specialisations include Adult Education Teacher, VET RTO/TAFE Trainer and Assessor  and/or Workplace Trainer and Assessor.

 

Tasks Include:

  • Ensuring training and assessment is conducted in accordance with RGIT Australia’s policies and procedures
  • Identifying the various needs of students and creating effective learning options to meet these needs
  • Liaising with individuals, industry and education sectors to ensure provision of relevant programs and services
  • Planning, designing and developing course curriculum and method of instruction
  • Developing lesson/session plans and PowerPoint presentation slides
  • Assess student assessments in accordance with the principles of assessment and rules of evidence
  • Provide students with constructive feedback on their assessment outcomes, and record feedback according to requirements
  • Advising students on courses and related matters
  • Teaching students using teaching aids including presentation of lesson materials, discussions, workshops, laboratory sessions, multimedia aids and computer tutorials
  • Marking and grading students' assignments, papers and exams and providing feedback to students about their progress
  • Maintaining records of students' progress, attendance and training activities
  • Consulting with Education Managers, Librarians, Student Counselors and other support staff
  • Utilise various classroom management techniques to create and foster a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Identify and provide reasonable adjustment support to students and ensure it’s properly documented, as required
  • Assess and address the varied needs of students, including the provision of training which caters for individual differences in learning, academic abilities and learning styles

Skills and experience

Position purpose

The Systems Administrator is responsible for designing, managing and maintaining the Student Management Systems (SMS) database architecture including RTO Manager and VETtrack by performing such duties as setting-up the modules, naming convention, ensuring integrity, reporting to authorities to maintain compliance, generating reports and maintaining students' records in an efficient and effective manner.

 

Selection Criteria

  • Bachelor in Information Technology or ICT related course(s)

Position responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the student management system by designing course structures in accordance with the approved training and assessment strategies;
  • Develop, update, monitor and maintain staff and student SMS manuals;
  • Conduct training on the SMS usage to trainers and staff members on a regular basis in order to ensure effective operation of the system;
  • Generate reports and prepare learners' intervention lists as and when required;
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of student academic results on the SMS;
  • Liaise with SMS developers/vendors including other stakeholders on such business needs as customisation, changes in reporting requirements to resolve SMS issues, when required;
  • Ensure compliance of the data management system as per the regulatory requirements;
  • Oversee ICT infrastructure for the integrity of the system; and

We are seeking for a smart and enthusiastic candidate for Student Administration Officer position who will be responsible in managing office front desk and performing student administration duties in an efficient and effective manner.  This position is full-time and based in our Hobart Campus.

 

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Perform front-desk receptionist task to ensure satisfactory organisational operations;
  • Generate, gather, process and maintain student documentation;
  • Check whether the required documentation has been attained for each student and whether the contents of the submitted documentation have been satisfactory completed, as per requirements (i.e. AVETMISS);
  • Enrol, update and maintain student information in RGIT’s Student Management System (SMS);
  • Gather student data from forms and enter data in the respective databases (i.e. excel spread sheet and SMS);
  • Generate and maintain student tracking sheets for each intake;
  • Collect, update, process and maintain student course progress records, in liaison with the respective personnel
  • Collect, update, process and maintain student class attendance records, in liaison with the respective personnel;
  • Contact students and follow up on student administration matters, such as poor student attendance, when required;
  • Update student results in the respective databases;
  • Process student withdrawals, refunds and VET FEE-HELP (VFH) debt remittance requests accordingly, in liaison with the respective personnel;
  • Ensure accuracy of student data by continuously updating it in the event of any variations to students’ records (i.e. withdrawals, etc.);
  • Gather requests for official certificate and documentation (e.g. transcript, etc.) generation, update the respective databases and provide them accordingly;
  • Confirm all student administration documentation requirements are satisfied prior to generating official certificates;
  • Assist in the preparation of student events, such as preparing student packs for Orientation day;
  • Ensure all deadlines are met and records checked before filing;
  • Record and log all enquiries; and
  • Produce student reports from raw data and relevant student databases.
